New Hardwood is a family owned and operated business specializing in refinishing, recoating and installing hardwood floors.

Victor Tavares founded the company in 1994 and has owned and managed it ever since. He got his start in the hardwood flooring business while working his way through college at Mercer University, GA. While at Mercer, he earned both an undergraduate business degree and an MBA.

After completing his education, Victor decided to start his own flooring business. New Hardwood currently has two teams, one specializes in installation and the other one in finishing.New Hardwood has grown into a quality installation and refinishing company.We are fully insured and bonded
